Page-Turner Alert: The Prequel That’s Redefining Mystery

AND THEN: There Lies The Inheritance is more than just a book—it’s an experience. And it’s one click away from being yours.

AND THEN: There Lies The Inheritance is not just a digital book—it’s your ticket to a world where cozy meets thrilling. This is the prequel to the popular AND THEN cozy mystery series, and it’s about to turn your quiet evenings into a rollercoaster of suspense and intrigue.

Imagine being in the shoes of Luci, the newly appointed library owner, as she uncovers deadly secrets hidden within the dusty tomes. A chill slithers down your spine as fiction seeps into reality, smudging the line between imagination and truth.

With every page you turn, you’ll be drawn deeper into the mystery surrounding Elliot Blackwood’s collapse.

Was it a heart attack or something more sinister?

Only Luci and her standoff-ish feathered sidekick, Simon, can crack the case.

This is a world where the most dangerous stories are the ones that leap off the page and frame you for murder…before the series even begins.

So, are you ready to escape into a story that’s as charming as a cozy mystery and as suspenseful as a thriller?

  1. Jennifer Rosenberry

    Wonderful and interesting story.

  2. Sherri

I enjoyed this prequel of how Luci comes to own the library. The characters are well described even though it’s a short book. The mystery of whodunnit was interesting and challenging.

  3. Peg S

I wish I could inherit a library like Luci does in the story and I like the lbrary’s resident Simon an African grey parrot. There is a book signing with a famous author and disaster strikes. Luci and Simon see if they can figure out what causes havoc in the library. I definitely recommend reading this book if you like reading Peyton Stone’s books.

  4. Phthon

Talk about having to hit the ground running! Luci had no time to settle in before a book signing. I loved the parrot, Simon! Definitely a special bird. He could be an assistant in a sleuthing business. Smart and observant. This book was a fun read and I recommend it!

  5. Cat B.

What a great little read this was. A quick one to be sure but enough to introduce the main characters, including Simon a feisty parrot, give us a great little mystery and a nice twist at the end.
