Mystery at the Library When Luci inherits her Grandmother’s Library, she finds that owning and running a library is more than sitting back and reading books. When she finds out that there is an author signing on the second day of ownership, things get dicey when the very entitled author ends up in the hospital. Luci must figure out whether it was a heart attack or something more sinister. Along with the library, Luci also inherited a very smart, super-sleuth. African Grey Parrot, Simon. intentional or just a coincidence? Nothing like inheriting something and the 2nd day you have a major crime.When a scheduled book signing includes the author having a heart attack, you have to keep reading to find out whether it was natural or unnatural. Add a smart bird and you cannot resist this book.

And Then There Was…trouble I enjoyed this preview novel for Luci Mitchell’s book series. It’s a great lead in to the other books in the series as Luci receives her inheritance from her Grandmother Annabelle and meets the amazing Simon. Taking charge of an entire library right before a major event is a challenge she has to figure out but with Simon’s help she’ll make it.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

When Luci met Simon When a cantankerous author ends up dead during a book signing, no one suspects a thing. Luci and Simon, a supersmart sleuthing parrot, investigate some odd things that happened around the time of the event. There are some twists and turns in this novella that is a great prequel to the Luci Mitchell series. It can be read as a standalone.

How it all began. A dead author, several suspects, and a very smart bird. Great mystery with interesting characters. I was an ARC reader and this is my honest opinion.

Excellent Interesting characters and a well written story line that had me glued to the pages from the beginning. Lots of twists. I highly recommend this book
